Epiphone Coronet 1965 - Batwing Era - Very Good Condition
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a single P-90 rock machine, a 1965 Epiphone Coronet in heritage cherry with the addition of a Bigsby. The stop tailpiece holes have been carefully filled and other modifications include replacement tuners (originals included) and Frank added a riser for the P-90. Hard case included.
The Epiphone Coronet was first introduced in 1959 alongside the Crestwood as part of Epiphone's solid-body electric guitar lineup. In the early 1960s, the design of the Epiphone Coronet underwent some changes. The most noticeable change was the addition of a "bat wing" headstock shape and the body went from a symmetrical style to one with a shortened treble horn.
Shipping records show a total of 4,414 Coronet's were produced between 1959 and 1969 when U.S. production ended.
