At checkout, taxes are added in addition to the sales price. Due to the state laws of North Carolina where our office is located, taxes are also applied to the shipping cost.

Shipping (for buyers)
Once the payment is successfully received the seller is notified to begin the shipping process and has 72 hours to pack and ship the guitar. All shipments are made through UPS including shipping insurance covering the full sales price of the guitar. Once the guitar has been delivered to a UPS retail outlet a tracking number is emailed to the buyer.
Guitar Gavel, Inc. uses Shipguitars.com as the third party shipping service. Shipguitars.com specializes in shipping guitars including boutique insurance coverage through UPS Capital. Once the guitar is packed and delivered to a UPS dropoff location a tracking number is emailed to the buyer. In the unfortunate event something happens to the guitar during shipping, shipguitars.com will act on behalf of the customer to file a claim and help resolve the issue promptly.
