This Zager is approximately 16 years old and has spent much of its life in the case stored in a humidity controlled environment.  The combination of red cedar and rosewood construction gives this guitar a nice deep and mellow tone.

The ZAD 80 OM has a western red cedar top, 3-piece rosewood back and rosewood sides.  Higher end appointments include abalone binding and abalone rosette inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Bolivian rosewood fretboard with cross fret markers.  Depending on the year Zager either used a bone nut and saddle or tusq.  It is unknown which material is used on this model.

Zager's feature an "Easy Play" bracing system that flexes, or provides some give on the guitar top as you press each string.  This alleviates the need for exhaustive pressure when fretting chords giving the player more control and stamina.

Denny Zager's signature on the back of the guitar.
