Couldn't load pickup availability
Here is a wonderful and highly desirable early 1980s Vox Standard Bass, made in Japan by Matsumoku. Condition rating, this a 9.0 out of 10 and is attractively priced for a Vox collector or Matsumoku-made bass guitar enthusiast. This was a budget friendly model from Vox, only offered in a polyester black finish, but the player is the recipient of Matsumoku craftsmanship.
Matsumoku started as a family cabinet making business. However, the company pivoted and has a storied history in the guitar business as a contract manufacturer for Aria, Greco, Ibanez, and Yamaha to name a few while their house brand of guitars was Westone.
The Vox Standard’s were cataloged from approximately 1980-1985 alongside the Vox Custom bass.
Seller rates this a 9.0 out of 10. Case is included and in fair condition.
