Silvertone H1427 50s/60s - Black - Very Good Condition

Very cool 1950s/60s Silvertone H1427 ‘Espanada’ Black Finish Electric Guitar with Gibson P-13 Pickups! Recent pro setup.

Very good condition (I’d say ‘Excellent’ considering its age) with original Gibson P-13 pickups. Knobs, switchtip, pickguard, trapeze tailpiece, tuners also all appear original. The soft shell case is in very good condition for its age & also appears to be the original; Latches, handle, & metal hinges all work well. (The leather ‘hinge’ is worn in half.)

Fret markers are vintage mother-of-pearl, very similar to that used on 1950s Gibson's. Binding is plastic (not painted) front & back, as well as the neck.

This guitar features the Gibson P-13 single coil pickups which were a design that preceded the P-90, with a slightly meatier and darker tone.

Produced by Harmony in the USA for sale via the Sears & Roebuck catalog, this guitar is virtually identical to the Harmony-branded "H63" model.
