This is a beautiful, one owner Martin D-41 from 1974 and the owner personally traveled to Nazareth and picked up the guitar himself. The owner is a fingerstyle player so there are no pick scratches on the pickguard or body. The finish is super clean, all original, and has only had string changes.

It comes with a Martin fiberglass case, original hang tag, letter from Martin to owner, and original receipts of purchase.

Being this is a 50 year old guitar there are a few minor cosmetic imperfections. Firstly the neck binding has shrunk away from the nut on the bass side, there is a small crack in the neck binding at the 14th fret bass side, a small crack in the top between the bridge and soundhole, no splitting. There are two small dings on the upper face. There is a check in the ebony fretboard which appears as graining. Nothing major or takes away from playability and overall integrity of this finely crafted guitar.

Plays beautifully, with a rich warm tone.
The guitar has new strings and the fretboard conditioned, no other work.

The Martin D-41 was first introduced in 1969. It was developed as an upscale model between the D-35 and D-45 and known for its luxurious appointments, including elaborate abalone pearl inlays, bindings, and rosette.

The Martin D-41 has gained a reputation for its rich and balanced tone, making it a popular choice among professional musicians and collectors. While the specific details of the D-41's features may vary over the years, it remains a flagship model in Martin's lineup, representing the company's commitment to craftsmanship and quality in the world of acoustic guitars.
