Vintage 1968 Hofner Model 491 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar. These guitars are highly sought after and very few come up for sale. The guitar is a jumbo shape body with a spruce top and maple veneer back and sides.
This model is famously known to have been played by Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones. This beautiful Hofner acoustic guitar was sold under by Selmer as the Western model. Large scale of 64.5 centimeters. Large jumbo body size. Imitating Gibson's first J-45s.
It is in very good condition and well adjusted, and sounds amazing. Has a really great feel from the 5 piece maple neck and is easily adjustable via the neck tilt adjustment system which adjustable with a flat head screwdriver at the heal of the neck.
The guitar will be shipped in a non original hard shell case and the instrument is in excellent condition
