Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe 1976
Couldn't load pickup availability
Up for sale we have a black 1976 Gibson Les Paul in excellent condition. The serial number is 00123940, made in Kalamazoo and all original. The Pro model was short-lived (1976-1982), and this vintage Gibson has a feature set roughly mirroring a 1956 Les Paul Standard, with a pair of clear bobbin P-90 single coil pickups.
These pickups take full advantage of the time-tested tonewood combination of a solid mahogany body and carved maple top, articulating the attack of maple as well as the mahogany with plenty of warmth and bite. The guitar weighs in a total of 10lbs and 2oz.
The three-piece maple neck has a medium C-shaped profile carve at the nut with additional depth and shoulder further up the fretboard, measuring .840" deep at the 1st fret and .995" at the 12th. The ebony fretboard has pearloid trapezoid inlays and original medium jumbo frets.
The guitar has a scale of 24 3/4" and 22 frets. The nut measures a full 1 11/16" in width, and the headstock is fitted with the original Gibson-branded, Schaller-made tuning machines which have clean chrome plating and keystone buttons. This guitar has been set up by our in-house luthier and is ready for stage/recording! OHSC included
