Up for sale is this vintage 1932 Dobro Model 50 tenor roundneck wood body resonator acoustic guitar.

This instrument appears to be all original with the possible exception of the tailpiece, which looks correct but also appears a little too modern. The original Planet tuners are a very cool feature of this guitar, so check out the close up of them in the photo section.

Cosmetically, this one shows heavy wear and it's clear that it was well-loved, although not abused. The original finish shows heavy wear and part of the original Dobro decal on the headstock is missing. There are no cracks or any funny business like that going on, it's just a beautiful, well-loved example and, when you sit down with it, it's easy to see why because it sounds and plays great!

This instrument has recently had a neck set and a fret dress performed. Both jobs were professionally done, although we are not sure who did the work. The original frets are pretty low now, so that was probably the last dressing for them, but it's good to go for a while and plays all the way up the neck with super low, comfortable action.

A non-original softshell case is included, which is loose-fitting. That being said, the instrument will be well-packed inside to ensure safe shipping.

This is a pretty rare model and it's a turn-key, shining example of such, so don't miss out!
